We took a drive today to Poor House Pies in Underhill,
Vermont. It is a go-to place for pie lovers.
It was not even noon and there were only a few pies
left. Fortunately, one of them was a maple cream!
That's the one we chose.
Rich and creamy. A wonderful treat!

For our
next visit, it's
going to be a
chicken pot pie.

You know how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style! I hope it was as good as it looks!
Oh, yes!. It WAS for St. Patrick's Day. Geo said he wanted to take a drive, but he didn't want to say where - he just said, head to Underhill. So it was a surprise. The coconut cream looked good, too, loaded with coconut. But this being maple sugaring season, I thought maple would be a good choice.
